Your wedding day is for feeling like royalty. It’s a day for gowns adorned with dreamy lace and appliqué, suiting rendered in rich hues, majestic floral arrangements, and beverages that take time for details. We worked with an incredible group of Milwaukee wedding experts for our latest fashion shoot, resulting in wedding inspiration fit for queens and kings.
To coordinate the shoot at Abloom Farm, we turned to Katy at Artist Group as the design lead and Événement:Event Design & Consulting for the overall coordinating of the scene. Artist Group also captured all of the photos seen here. The day was dressed with flowers galore: A pattern of petals creating a red carpet moment along the aisle, a vow-worthy backdrop of gathered branches and wild foliage, and floral-laced greenery hanging from above and stretching across the head table. Bouquets from Fantasy Flowers featured exotic blooms mixed with field-picked favorites.
Our brides wore gowns from Bucci’s Bridal and White Dress Boutique, chockfull of mixed textures, corseted boning, and tiers of ruffles. While all-over lace and lovely overlays dotted with appliqué and beading bring the drama, more casual fabrics keep things simple for boho beauty. Makeup by Wide Eyed Bride is kept natural with loose waves to compliment it. A crown of hair adornments create the perfect photo op.
For menswear from Dubois Formalwear, grooms dare to mix hues and patterns, even adding a bright pop of color. Shades of merlot are a new on-trend neutral. Whatever the color, fashionable fellas are encouraged to take risks with their style and lean into their personality.
We washed down the day with bartending by Bar Stars. There were picture-perfect beverages and garnishes paired with cigars for the taking. Assorted glassware displayed in the background keeps the eye moving. For a scrumptious appetizer, All Occasions Catering served an ale-braised duck tostada with black bean purée, house-made Asian slaw, fresh avocado, and cilantro. A fresh feast fit for royalty!
