A Lake Geneva Fairytale Styled Shoot

Elyse contacted me to do a styled shoot with horses so I knew I wanted to incorporate them into my design. The only parameters she gave me were the hue of  blushes, so I just went off of that. I’ve always wanted to do a crest for a design, so I thought what better opportunity to do some florals and horses for the crest. I chose flowers that were in season that would likely be used for the time of year, and I paired it with some watercolor horses. I opted for a whimsical font, and kept that loose artistic feel you get with watercolor by overlaying a watercolor wash over the text.- DCo Lovenotes
