Turner hall ballroom hosts wedmke wedding show

5 Things You Didn’t Know About WedMKE

March 2, 2020

Premier Bride Wisconsin is excited to join the talented team at WEDMKE for their 5th annual wedding show on Sunday, March 8th! We reached out to Ann Lennart of WEDMKE to learn a little bit more about the event and what attendees can expect this year. Here’s what she had to say:

What to expect

WEDMKE is not your average, overwhelming, big-box wedding expo experience. It’s an intimate and specialized opportunity for brides- and grooms-to-be to browse and talk with over 60 hand-picked vendors. The event itself is held in one of Milwaukee’s most loved wedding venues, Turner Hall Ballroom, and features vendors set-up throughout the ballroom.

Community impact

We are especially excited about this year’s prom drive. Turner Hall Ballroom Weddings has partnered with The Cinderella Project to collect new or gently used formal dresses and shoes that are on trend and fashionable which will be given to deserving young ladies in the community. Attendees who bring a donation will be entered to win a prize pack, featuring goodies from WEDMKE vendors, including restaurant gift cards, event tickets, spa services and more!

What’s new this year?

WEDMKE will feature a mock wedding tablescape setup featuring a variety of show vendors as well as a honeymoon giveaway – a three night all inclusive stay at Explorean Cozumel, courtesy of LovinAway Luxury Romance Travel.

Attendee Favorites

Attendees every year look forward to the tote bag giveaway, this year sponsored by White Dress Bridal Boutique. Tote bags will be given to the first 200 attendees and many of the vendors will have goodies to collect along the way.

Always a fan favorite, Korbel will host a Mimosa Bar and will be featuring one of their most popular cocktails – a Frozé slushie- YUM! Turner Hall Ballroom will also have a complimentary glass of champagne at their booth while supplies last (also compliments of Korbel).
