When you think of your wedding every moment of the day is touching and special. Getting to enjoy the company your guests who have come to celebrate, obviously marrying the love of your life, and finally seeing all the details you have worked so hard on come together. Some of the biggest being the flowers, invitations and cake. Our recent shoot gives the WOW factor and more!
Looking at the decorative touches at our recent styled shoot, the flowers shine throughout the scene. Bank of Flowers chose a palette that ranged from soft peaches to muted rust to stand out in contrast against the blue linens. From the show-stopping high centerpiece to the large and lovely arrangements that adorned the ceremony and photo area, it’s hard to choose a favorite. We asked Bank of Flowers how they felt about working on this shoot: “When you’re in a room with so many creative people, you get recharged! There is so much energy, your mind is filled with new ideas. Your inspiration is through the roof when you leave.”
Addie at Adeline Margaret handled all paper goods for our styled shoot. In keeping with the colors of the day, everything was done up in a palette of blue and blush. Not only did Addie design the invitation suite, but also the champagne bottle and ribbon place cards, as well as the dinner menus set atop each place-setting.
We asked Addie to tell us more about her inspiration: “When designing this invitation suite, ‘whimsical’ stayed top of mind from the moment I started exploring the goals for the shoot. I wanted to incorporate watercolor into each piece to bring in some texture and align with the hand-painted elements I added to the custom champagne bottle. My designs tend to lean towards a more boho, minimalistic style so it was really fun to explore a softer, more romantic direction for this shoot!”
Greige Pâtisserie provided us with an enchanting wedding cake for our styled shoot. Upon the two tiers, you’ll see hand-painted blue garden roses and soft ruffled details in contrast to an otherwise smoothly-frosted confection. For a finishing touch, some fresh white blooms make the perfect topper.
In addition they created custom monogram cookies with the couples initials adorned front and center for each place setting. Along with a delicious sweets table featuring mini specialty desserts and tasty macaroons!
Just a few shorts days before our next issue debuts. We’ll be sharing a few more sneak peaks before then!
