Dalila and Logan met online during their time at University of Wisconsin – Oshkosh. It was during Dalila’s last semester that they got to meet in person!
During an all inclusive cruise to the Bahamas, Logan proposed on the beach! Thinking ahead Logan had his friends secretly set up a GoPro and camera to capture the special moment.

“The centerpieces!” The couple was proud to see their hard work come together as they designed and created them all, themselves.

Ceremony Details and Favorite Moments:
The ceremony and reception were both indoors at Chandelier Ballroom, which was a huge bonus with it raining off and on throughout the day. The officiants were both Logan’s cousins, making it even more special. “We wanted a short and sweet ceremony, and they did a great job of keeping with that. They also added a good amount of humor which was important to us.” For an extra added touch they did a sand ceremony.

What Made You Choose Your Venue:
“We loved the size and location of the venue.” Dalila also grew up in Hartford so it was a nice central location for friends and family.
Reception Details and Favorite Moments:
“We really enjoyed dancing and how the DJ was able to incorporate both our cultures. We asked him to alternate between both English and Bosnian songs about every 15 minutes. There was also a Bosnian group circle dance that everyone tried to do, which was entertaining. The cake cutting, first dances, bouquet and garter tosses were also fun!”
Food and Drink Details:
“We had lemon rosemary chicken, beef tips, salad, mashed potatoes and vegetables. We ordered cupcakes and a small cake from the local grocery store. The drinks were a play on the four “must-haves” for good luck at your wedding. Something Old, Something New, Something Borrowed and Something Blue. We had New York Cosmopolitans, a Blue Hawaiian Fruit Drink, Whisky Old Fashioned Sweet and Sangria.”

“The first dance. It was very special to have the moment just for us as a married couple and all of our friends and family surrounding us.”
