“The flowers are truly what tied everything together and brought our color scheme to life! Joey is absolutely amazing and executed our vision so well. We wanted our colors / flowers to not scream fall wedding, we wanted it to look like an end of summer wedding, and our flowers were perfection.”

How many dresses did you try on?
“6! My dress ended up being the last one my stylist pulled and was exactly everything I thought I didn’t want (strapless, heavy beading, fitted).”

“Our ceremony was put together by our officiant, the bride’s brother. Our favorite detail is just how personal he made it, making sure to touch on the smallest of details about each of us and our relationship was so sweet and such a nice touch. We also loved how in lieu of a unity ceremony, we had our families come forward and “warm our rings” with their prayers, well wishes, and good thoughts, as our officiant blessed our hands before exchanging the rings.
What made our wedding unique is we decided to not have a bridal party which truly made it feel so much more intimate. With just us two at the front, we were able to look out during our ceremony and see all of our loved ones.”

“We loved all the vibes of our venue, with the brick and exposed duct work, the elegant chandeliers and beautiful string lighting, and mostly what caught our eye was the newly redone bar area with the fun seating around it! It was the perfect size venue for our 81 guests and looked so beautiful!”

“Being the foodies that we are—we loved our dinner and desserts! Tall Guy and a Grill knocked it out of the park with our food, and you can’t go wrong with a Piggly Wiggly donut for dessert (arguably the best donuts). We also loved seeing friends and family come together to celebrate the night with us, it was such a special feeling knowing everyone was there for us!”

“Truly, all of our vendors were so amazing, we really cannot pick one. Each one had such a special part in our day, each of them going above and beyond for us! We feel so lucky to have picked such an amazing team of vendors.”
Three Words that Described the Day: Intimate, fulfilling, soft/romantic
What moment sticks with you the most?
“I think the obvious answer here is getting married! It was such a sweet moment during dinner when we were finally able to slow down and have a moment to take it all in and we were like “Wow, we’re married, and all these people are here for us! This is OUR wedding!”
What tips or advice would you share with future couples?
Enjoy the process of planning and being engaged. And truly plan your day how the TWO of you want it! It’s OK to be nontraditional, if it’s what you and your partner want!”
