Good Eats and Live Music Make for a Perfect Wedding.

How They Met

Erin and Ryan met at Chickenfest in Monches, WI. Erin was volunteering as a bartender and Ryan came to grab a few beers. After Erin’s shift they talked and talked, hitting it off right away. Erin’s mom helped play “matchmaker” a bit by asking Ryan if he was going to get her phone number before they left.

How They Got Engaged

Ryan planned a family dinner for Erin’s birthday at Little Red Inn. During dinner, everyone there gave Erin gifts for her birthday. Ryan have her a necklace with their birthstones on it to throw her off of any possible engagement. After dinner, everyone went to the bar area and Ryan told Erin to order a bottle of wine. When they came out with the bottle, Erin was confused because she had ordered a bottle of white but instead they brought out a bottle of red. When the owner showed it to her and flipped it over, it read “Erin Nicole Novak, Will You Marry Me?”, carved into the wine bottle. Erin was completely caught off guard and Ryan even had a photographer hiding at the bar to take photos of the night.

Wedding Colors: The bridesmaids wore champagne, otherwise it was a mix of colors gathered from the Wildflowers they used in decor.

Style and Theme of the Wedding:
Wildflowers.

What was your favorite design element?
“The centerpieces were my favorite. I loved the mismatched decor along with the wildflowers. It was everything I envisioned. I also loved the “Love That Made Us” table with all of our parents and grandparents wedding photos. It was a cute touch.”

Weddings Looks

Bridesmaids Dresses: Bridesmaids got to choose where to purchase as long as they were champagne in color.

How many dresses did you try on?
“I don’t even know how many! Honestly, I didn’t have an ‘AHA’ moment when trying on my dress! It was just the one that looked the best.”

“Our ceremony was extremely beautiful, but quick. Our officiant was very meaningful to Ryan from their years of working together prior to Ryan’s car accident. The florist did an amazing job and the flowers and greenery were absolutely beautiful. The best part was how short the ceremony was. Ryan and I wanted to go onto the party as quick as possible!”

Why Did You Choose Your Venue:
“Ryan knew the staff very well. They hosted his benefit after his car accident. His parent’s also got married there, so it held a special place in his heart. Michelle, the manager, is an absolute rockstar and was incredibly help with planning and helping the day along.”

Reception Details and Favorite Moments:
“The Band, Sons of Sconnie, was probably the best part! Everyone was on the dance floor all night! They were an absolute hit. Also, the food was a bit hit.”

Food and Drink Details:
“Dinner was amazing. The Chandelier Ballroom catered the apps, dinner and late night food. We had an 8 foot charcuterie board during happy hour. It was incredible! For dinner we had beef tips an chicken with a bunch of sides, and we ended the night with a large late night buffet. It was quite the spread of nachos, spinach artichoke dip, burger sliders, steak bites and more! We also had an espresso martini bar that was a guest favorite!

“The Band! We are constantly getting compliments on how good the band was and how much fun everyone had.”
