Schauer Arts Center

Words truly cannot express just how happy we were with choosing Schauer for our reception venue. The moment we met Amy we felt incredibly confident that we would be in great hands and we were so right! Amy is such a pleasant person who was super professional and accommodating throughout the entire planning process. Schauer is a beautiful venue. We absolutely loved having the Suckow Art Gallery and Automotive museum open for cocktail hour and guests seemed to really enjoy this as well! All in all we highly recommend working with Amy and choosing Schauer for your wedding venue!

Amy was the BEST and the space is quite easy to transform into almost any vision with the assistance of Amy. I've been planning corporate events for 40 years and have never enjoyed the planning as much working with anyone else. I highly recommend you call Amy to start planning your amazing day at the Schauer Arts Center... you will not be disappointed with the venue or the service!

It has been a little over a week since Dalton and I got married at the Schauer Center, and while we finally feel like we can breathe a little bit, we just wanted to extend our gratitude for all the work and help you were to us for the last, i don’t know, year and a half?

There are so many instances that I can point out where I knew I loved Dalton, but one of the trips that solidified our relationship was when he agreed to see the Aladdin musical with me in Chicago. We had only been dating for a couple of months at that point, but that musical started our regular trips to the theater (also, I played the magic carpet in the junior version of the show lmao. The carpet is electronic in the broadway version, so I guess I’ll never get my well-earned Tony award for that). I never could have imagined getting married in one.

One of the comments we got most at the wedding was “how did you find this place?” I’ll admit, Hartford is nowhere near our families, but I had to tell people that I just simply googled “weddings in theaters in Wisconsin” and found you guys. We toured the venue in the heart of COVID, and it was the first time stepping in a theater for 10 months. I remember turning to Dalton and telling him that I felt chills as soon as I saw the stage. We weren’t even out of Hartford before he said that that is where we had to get married. For the last year and a half you were always so quick to respond to my emails, ease any concern I had.

I dreamed of my wedding my entire life and I never imagined it to be as beautiful as it was. The lighting of the stage was so romantic, the timing of the songs was perfect, Tryna literally bent over backwards to accommodate us for any request we had. It was truly the most perfect day and you all hold such a special place in my heart for making this happen.
