Lola’s Empanadas is a Hispanic, family-owned empanada food truck, best known for serving the most delicious Empanadas in West Allis, Milwaukee.
Named after Doña Lola, the owner’s grandmother, the Mexican food truck honors who was originally the family’s food business pioneer almost 100 years ago, selling food at the night markets in Hidalgo, México.
Inheriting the passion from his mom, her youngest son José grew up to become an award-winning chef in México and the United States. His daughter, Citlali Mendieta, would also follow the same path, developing a love for traditional Mexican food and Latin cuisine since she was a little girl.
Operated by the Antigua Restaurant Group, proudly serving the Milwaukee metro area for over 20 years.
