What made you want to start your own photography business?
There’s something amazing about getting to work with people on the most important day of their life. what better job than to be able to share every weekend with peoples best day ever!!! I love being such an intricate part of the success of their day!
What do you love about photographing weddings?
People bring out their absolute best! They’ve worked so hard to get in shape, planned and planned and planned and everybody is looked forward to this for so long the mentality is to just have the best day ever!
How many photographers do you have on your team?
We’ve got about a dozen photographers that have been with us for more than five years. We’ve been in business for about 15 years and have shot thousands of weddings.
What is a tip you have for couples who are starting the process of booking a photographer and/or videographer?
It’s nice to book a company that has everything planned out and has the experience to handle whatever might come their way. Our company always has a photographer on call every weekend in case something should happen or come up. We also help plan out the day at no additional cost to you which is a big deal when getting the absolute best images you can get!
Are there any unique trends you see for 2020 and coming for 2021 in how wedding are photographed or the types of pictures couples want?
When COVID-19 happened we adjusted all of our packages and pricing and even the way that we organize things to be super flexible and make all kinds of different plans work. I think the mindset has completely changed since this is happened and we are adapting every day!
How much time should a couple allot towards getting photos of the wedding party?
I think planning is the key to this and it depends on the size of your wedding party and how many locations you want to shoot at but we typically tell people we need just over an hour of shooting for Romantics in bridal party photos. So if you’re just doing one location you could be done in about an hour if you’re stopping at three places with transportation in between that could span out to take significantly longer.
Is there anything you wish couples would know about their wedding photos that just doesn’t seem to get shared?
We love it the more creative couples get. Working in things like special cars or pets or places are awesome. Out of the ordinary and simply unique expressions are some of our favorite photos!
And just for fun….what is your favorite part of the wedding to photograph?
I absolutely love the pictures of just the bride and groom which we call the romantic sessions.
What made you want to start your own photography business?
I actually started out teaching special education. During my teaching career, my husband and I started a family and I picked up my first “real” camera to capture my growing little boys. The perfectionist in me wanted to take the best images possible, and the teacher in me learned how. I started photographing friends and family, and eventually turned my newfound passion into a business.
What do you love about photographing weddings?
I love being a wedding photographer because I am able to create images that my couple’s feel truly “captured them” – their loving interactions, genuine personalities and the special little moments throughout the day. I am also a huge people person, so being able to meet new people as part of my job is a perfect fit!
How many photographers do you have on your team?
The Allysha Noelle Photography team is just me! I wanted my clients to be able to meet me, feel comfortable with me, and know exactly who will be by their side the day of the wedding! For couples that want a second shooter, I contract one of a few trusted photographers I have worked with in the past so I know that images will be consistent and to my standards!
What is a tip you have for couples who are starting the process of booking a photographer and/or videographer?
I think that when choosing a photographer, couples should look for a person they feel comfortable with. They are with a couple the entire day, so it’s important personalities mesh well.
I also recommend that a couple check to see if a photographer’s style of photography blends with the vision of their wedding images. Do you want posed or unposed images? Do you have a preferred style of editing (ie: true to color, light and airy, dark and moody). Looking at a wedding photographer’s portfolio is a great way to view their style.
Are there any unique trends you see for 2020 and coming for 2021 in how wedding are photographed or the types of pictures couples want?
My favorite trend in wedding photography is couples wanting a more relaxed and unposed wedding photo experience where candid moments and raw emotions are captured. You instantly feel the emotion when looking back at these types of images.
How much time should a couple allot towards getting photos of the wedding party?
This all depends on the importance you put on photos with your wedding party, the size of your wedding party and the overall timeline of your day! However, generally planning thirty minutes for photos with you wedding party will give you enough time to have a mix of images including group, bride + bridesmaids, groom + groomsmen and individual shots.
Is there anything you wish couples would know about their wedding photos that just doesn’t seem to get shared?
I find my couples are very informed, but something that I think is super important for every couple is to hire someone who is professional. Especially when it comes to equipment and data backups. No matter who you choose as your wedding photographer, you only get one wedding day. There isn’t a second chance, so a photographer who is prepared is always a good idea.
And just for fun….what is your favorite part of the wedding to photograph?
My favorite part of the wedding to photography is husband and wife portraits. This is because my couples are able to step away from the hustle of their wedding and spend a few moments together. It’s a chance for them to celebrate their new marriage, and I get to capture it all!
What made you want to start your own photography business?
Honestly, photography found me – after filing for divorce only three weeks after Charlie (my son, now 10) was born, I needed a creative outlet. My dear friend, Gretchen with Faith Photography, encouraged me to get a DSLR after seeing what I could do with a flip-phone camera taking pictures of my son. The rest is history. I have been teaching myself and bettering my skills ever since.
What do you love about photographing weddings?
Weddings have been in my blood since I was 14 – my side skill is some pretty amazing floral design – I even used to offer bouquet and boutonniere packages for my photography and wedding planning (which I also used to do) clients. With degrees in English and Reading Education though, my real passion is storytelling. Photography is a visual story. Wedding photography weaves a tapestry of one of the most emotionally-laden days of two people’s lives. The stress and joy and beauty – that is what I am a sucker for.
How many photographers do you have on your team?
Currently we have two photographers. Apart from myself (Marie), Mel recently joined my team to add amazing depth to the company’s skill set. She does stunning work with dogs and Burning Man outside of weddings and has a deep love of this art. Her portfolio takes my breath away and I am so lucky to be her teammate. We also have two talented videographers that we source work to – the Nicks (yes, we somehow ended up with two men named Nick as our videographers).
What is a tip you have for couples who are starting the process of booking a photographer and/or videographer?
Pick someone that speaks to your personality. We know the search is overwhelming, but when you take your time and find the person who makes you laugh and makes you feel confident about anything that could happen, that is key. You spend your entire wedding day with us in your space – make sure we are filling it with the vibes you enjoy.
Are there any unique trends you see for 2020 and coming for 2021 in how wedding are photographed or the types of pictures couples want?
The trend for years now has been more toward lifestyle/photojournalistic style photographs, which I appreciate. At 34, I remember going to photography studios and awkwardly posing (hellllooooo superimposed head floating in the background and horrible 80s dresses) – it was uncomfortable and my smile was never genuine. We don’t do that. The images we deliver are about the interaction and emotion between people. You know – real life.
How much time should a couple allot towards getting photos of the wedding party?
I can get wedding party pictures done in under 30 minutes – and I like to do those first. Sometimes this involves bribing, which I am skilled at as a former Middle/High School teacher (have you ever seen a group of people focus when they are told they cannot drink until we are done?). However, for the couple’s portraits, I tend to want a solid hour. This is important because a) you two need a break from the fast-pace of the day and b) sometimes we need to move around to get lighting, and the lighting can change dramatically in an hour. This is not including travel to different locations if needed.
Is there anything you wish couples would know about their wedding photos that just doesn’t seem to get shared?
You are not going to like the way you look in every picture, and that is normal and okay. For example, my jaw is crooked and I despise pictures from my left side. I have learned over the years to focus more on the emotion of the picture. If you really have a side you prefer, consider rearranging how you stand at the ceremony, and what side you want to be on in formal portraits – and let your photographer(s) know. We will try our best to remember and get that done! Also, keep in mind we are our own worst critics. The pictures from my left side – no one notices the difference except me.
And just for fun….what is your favorite part of the wedding to photograph?
I am a sucker for parents’ reactions. When they see their child, or watch them say their vows – that gets me every time. If one of your parents starts to cry, I will cry. It is a rule. A close second is the couple coming back up the aisle after the ceremony is over – the mixture of stress falling away and pure happiness is golden.
What made you want to start your own photography business?
My business was built on dreams and determination to give my sons a better life. My goal was to leave my job in the medical field to pursue my passion for photography full time. I created Memory Lane Photography in 2015, and since then have photographed over 100 wedding days. My little boys fueled my motivation to work hard to build my empire that would support my family. I continue to dream big and teach my sons the value of working hard for something that brings happiness and fulfillment to my life. I decided to take my business and dreams to the next level. I am the proud owner of the newly rebranded Memory Lane & Co. Wisconsin, LLC (formally Memory Lane Photography by Jessica Lane). We are a team of wedding professionals serving ALL couples in love with their wedding planning. Our services include photography and videography, DJ services, photo booth, uplighting, LED dance floor, and MORE! We also include wedding hair and makeup services with our custom wedding collections. My goal was to create a unique wedding day with a one-stop-shop experience with quality professionals.
What do you love about photographing weddings?
I love photographing weddings so much that I decided to rebrand my business to focus on weddings only. I gave up portraits sessions and deleted my family + baby portfolio and website to focus on my true passion, weddings. What I love most about being a wedding photographer is creating a photographic love story that represents each couple and day that is truly unique to them. I find so much beauty in all the little details and candid moments that fill the day.
How many photographers do you have on your team?
I am the lead photographer behind Memory Lane & Co. Wisconsin. Our team consists of two wedding photography associates as well as two wedding photography assistants that alternate on wedding days with me. I always include an assistant with me on full wedding day collections. If you are booking a smaller, more intimate wedding day with 50 or less, I will be the only photographer. These custom wedding collections are for courthouse weddings, elopements, and micro weddings. I LOVE photographing these types of weddings because of the level of intimacy of celebrating the day in a unique, different way with a small guest list, short and sweet ceremony, bridal and family portraits, and dinner with immediate and VIP guests. I photographed more micro + courthouse weddings in the past year then I have since I started my business. These weddings are becoming a popular trend. Our wedding collections include a complimentary engagement session, a full day of wedding photography coverage from getting ready to reception fun. Two photographers, DJ services, and wedding hair + makeup services INCLUDED with the wedding day collection. We also have self-care, pamper me packages available with other local female-owned businesses in the area. I am all about supporting others and working together to create a happy, successful life for all, doing what we love.
What is a tip you have for couples who are starting the process of booking a photographer and/or videographer?
I once was a young bride on a budget, yet still dreamed of all the beautiful things. My husband and I just recently celebrated my 7th wedding anniversary. As we reminisced back through Memory Lane and laughed, I was happy that I planned our wedding day the way to fit our needs and wedding day wishes. Our families supported our decisions and ideas. The biggest tip I can give couples who are planning their weddings is to find wedding day vendors that fit your ideal style and wedding vibes. We have custom wedding day collections that fit all wedding sizes and budgets. Our price ranges from $2,000-$7,000.
Are there any unique trends you see for 2020 and coming for 2021 in how wedding are photographed or the types of pictures couples want?
My style is very documentary, playful, and adventurous. I have always loved being in the great outdoors, especially photographing outdoor wedding ceremonies in the woods, in the garden, or even in your backyard. The adventurous wedding and elopement photography has been a recent trend. My goal is to document the authentic moments shared on wedding days and create something beautiful, the way the bride has envisioned it would be. I establish a relationship with my brides so we can get to know each other and work together before the wedding day—also, another reason why I include the engagement session with the full wedding day package.
How much time should a couple allot towards getting photos of the wedding party?
I want to help you plan the most epic day and create a timeline that benefits and maximizes your photographic love story. I live for documenting adventurous love stories. If you love our story and vibes and want to explore and create something beautiful, I’d love to hear all about your wedding plans! Together, we will make a custom timeline and figure out what is most important to you. If you want more time for bridal party photos and less time for details, we can do that. If you want a first look so you can enjoy your cocktail hour, we can do that. If you wish to incorporate sparklers and take fun photos during the reception, we can do that. I am here to help create your love story through planning and photography!
And just for fun….what is your favorite part of the wedding to photograph?
My favorite part of a wedding day is documenting the bride and groom after their wedding ceremony. There is something so special about photographing the fresh newly-wed bliss moments shared between the bride and groom. As a creative artist, I love being able to capture the moment in a fun, unique way that shows off the real and genuine moments on wedding days.
Over the last few years, my husband and I started crafting DIY wedding gifts to my brides after the wedding. There is something special about holding prints and reliving your wedding day through products. We make custom wood boxes and filled them with mini prints. Together, we sand, stain, craft, and create these beautiful photo boxes. We would put the kids to bed and craft for hours. I gift these boxes to each bride as a thank you gift. I wanted to go a step further in showing them how special they mean to me. You can purchase a custom box on our website! Finding the right photographer and wedding vendors, in general, are critical to having a successful wedding day for you to treasure forever.
What made you want to start your own photography business?
The passion for capturing love, life and all the in-betweens has swirled around in my soul for as long as I can remember. The daydream + excitement of capturing important moments, building something from scratch, and having artistic freedom finally overpowered the fear of the unknown. My passion drove me full steam ahead + I’ve never looked back!
What do you love about photographing weddings?
The storytelling. Weddings are made up of a thousand unique moments. Being able to capture them all and put them together in an artistic, cohesive story for my clients to treasure always makes my nostalgic heart happy.
How many photographers do you have on your team?
I have 3 photographers that assist me with Weddings.
What is a tip you have for couples who are starting the process of booking a photographer and/or videographer?
My biggest advice is to figure out your budget first. This will allow you to choose and communicate with photographers + videographers that not only match your style but also your budget, saving you time and also heartache. There’s nothing that hurts our hearts more than when a Bridal Couple finds me and we fall in love only to find out that I am outside of their budget.
Are there any unique trends you see for 2020 and coming for 2021 in how wedding are photographed or the types of pictures couples want?
Intimate Weddings, Candids and Authentic moments are what it’s all about. One of my personal goals as a Wedding Photographer is to capture a Wedding day as natural as possible while still maintaining the artistry that my Wedding Couples love.
How much time should a couple allot towards getting photos of the wedding party?
The amount of time for Wedding Party photos can vary depending on the size of the Wedding Party. I always make it a goal to capture the Groom/Groomsmen and Bride/Bridesmaids separately prior to the Ceremony. These each typically take about 20 minutes for the average bridal party size of 15-18 people. Full Bridal Party pictures are then captured following the Ceremony (after Family Formals) and typically take about 30 minutes. I personally photograph quickly and intentionally. I know exactly how I want to capture these moments before I even start and this saves on wasted time trying to get organized during the event itself. It also allows my couples and their guests to enjoy more time celebrating without having to lose out on missing images or moments.
Is there anything you wish couples would know about their wedding photos that just doesn’t seem to get shared?
My heart is poured into capturing and creating your Wedding Gallery perfectly. I often edit through the night and miss out on time with my own Family to complete a Wedding gallery quickly. I know how excited my Bridal Clients are to see their gallery and that matters to me. When us photographers send a gallery out, I can honestly tell you, we are all on the edge of our seats to hear back from you that you love it as much as we do. SO don’t forget to give a little shout out to your photog letting them know they did an amazing job!
And just for fun….what is your favorite part of the wedding to photograph?
I’m a sucker for the “Dad” moments – Dad + Daughter first looks, Dad’s walking their daughters down the aisle and the classic Daddy-Daughter dance. I typically have a fews tears during each of these. My clients become Family, I’m totally invested.
What made you want to start your own photography business?
With a background in DJ and entertainment, our goal was to start a wedding services company, and photography is such a vital wedding service, that it was a natural inclusion into our plan.
What do you love about photographing weddings?
I love the historical quality of it. The moments and memories you capture are the ones clients will remember for the rest of their lives. When memories fade we are left with the physical reminders of events, like photos and video, and that’s what stays with us. Those are the moments we share with our children and grandchildren. And when we are no longer here, that is how our loved ones remember us. For us, it’s not simply about a single day or single moment, it’s about recording your history.
How many photographers do you have on your team?
We have 3 full-time photographers and 3 part-time photographers.
What is a tip you have for couples who are starting the process of booking a photographer and/or videographer?
It’s not all about the end product. Your photographer is with you throughout your wedding day. You want to book someone you are comfortable with and connect with, or else you sacrifice the end result you were hoping for. Talk to your photographer before-hand, about anything and everything, not just photography or weddings. I speak from personal experience. Before I was in the wedding industry I chose a wedding photographer based on quality and price alone. We only spoke for a few moments. On our wedding day, our photographer did not fit the vibe of our day and he was stressful to deal with. The result was photos that reflected that. He got us going into and out of kisses, but rarely actually kissing. There were many photos where both my husband and I weren’t looking in the same direction. They’re not horrible photos, and there are a few amazing ones, but again, you can see our disconnection in them. We laugh about it now, because that’s all you can do. We strive to keep this “disconnection” out of everything we do. We want to be professionally personal in every interaction.
Are there any unique trends you see for 2020 and coming for 2021 in how weddings are photographed or the types of pictures couples want?
I have been getting more requests for photoshopping, so it’s a request that comes after the fact and isn’t related to a particular style or request for the photographer. I think clients are trying to achieve that “perfect photo”, but what they don’t realize is that the perfect photo is achieved in the moment of taking the photo, not in the editing studio. Make sure you have good backdrops for your photos. That’s the one thing the photographer doesn’t always have control of that really does make all the difference. The photographer can move purses and position you for the best light, but they can’t make a wall of children’s artwork or a cluttered kitchen disappear behind you.
How much time should a couple allot towards getting photos of the wedding party?
Our photographers like to see 2 hours of time in the schedule allotted for photos. This allows for 30 minutes of family photos, 30 minutes of wedding party photos, 30-45 minutes of photos of the couple and 15-30 minutes of travel time. If ceremony, photos & reception are all on one site, you can get away with 90 minutes, but it’s always best to build in buffer time and not feel rushed. If you don’t use it all, then you can relax, mingle and take-in more of your big day.
Is there anything you wish couples would know about their wedding photos that just doesn’t seem to get shared?
They are not all memorable or important, and it’s not about the number of photos. You are looking for quality in the important moments, not quantity of photos. I think couples are so afraid of some detail getting missed that they feel comforted by an astronomical number of wedding day photos, but you have to ask, “How useful or important are all those photos?”. I can give you a gallery with 1,000 photos with only 20 high quality photos, but is that really any better than a gallery with 600 photos and 60 high quality photos? Don’t focus on the number. Ten years down the line, you won’t care about 75% of your wedding photos. My husband always like to tell people that we have 800 photos from our wedding and only look at 20. While that’s not entirely true, I do have albums full of hundreds photos that I don’t care about. I probably look at about 100 of our wedding photos regularly.
And just for fun….what is your favorite part of the wedding to photograph?
I like when the bride & groom can relax. That’s when the real fun happens. I like the party and the dancing, but that is sometimes hard to capture in photo; Video is better for that. From a photography stand point, I like when our shooters take the couples away from the reception for a few moments after dinner. By this time most of the big events have happened, the nerves have worn off and you get to see the true love the couple shares, mixed with the giddiness of just being married. The bride is not quite so done up, some make-up has worn off and she looks a bit more natural. The groom is more relaxed and natural. These are the most magical photos because you can feel the love through the photos. If you can pair that with a stellar backdrop, you can capture the most amazing photos that will live on the couples’ wall forever.
What made you want to start your own photography business?
I’ve been interested in photography since I was a kid. I worked in several photo related businesses including larger studios, photo labs and as a news photojournalist. As much as I loved all of that work, I wanted to be my own boss so operating my own studio became my professional path.
What do you love about photographing weddings?
While I photograph many different people, places, things and events, weddings are special. A wedding is a one-of-a-kind event where each one has a unique story. As a photographer, I am thrilled to be able to tell that story through still images and video as well. While storytelling is the most profound part of what we do, it doesn’t hurt that these are joyous occasions and that you get to taste some really good food and desserts.
How many photographers do you have on your team?
While most of my career I’ve been an independent photographer, I’ve also now operated for Cream City for almost ten years and have a team of ten talented and creative photographers working with me.
What is a tip you have for couples who are starting the process of booking a photographer and/or videographer?
What I think is most important for couples planning their wedding and searching for a photographer to do is to set their priorities. If you want mostly portraits, looks for those images, if you want a more candid and natural set of images telling the story of your day, look for those images. If you want your photographer to be your BFF, then look for those individual photographers, if you want the security, confidence and convenience of having a skilled team and full service studio ready to serve you with all of their resources, then look no further than Cream City.
Are there any unique trends you see for 2020 and coming for 2021 in how wedding are photographed or the types of pictures couples want?
While candid images have never gone out of style, there seems to be a greater interest these days in more natural and authentic images that truly tell the story of your day rather than look like all of the other images that studio creates.
How much time should a couple allot towards getting photos of the wedding party?
The best weddings are the ones where the couple plans enough time to let things happen on their day. This could be as simple as a half hour between the ceremony and reception at the club, hotel or barn where their entire wedding is taking place, or it could be three hours to travel around town to favorite and iconic locations to create a series of fun and romantic images.
Is there anything you wish couples would know about their wedding photos that just doesn’t seem to get shared?
If I were to look back over the years at the hundreds of weddings I’ve been privileged to photograph, I’d say the one thing I like to stress most and that most others don’t share is to make enough time to have the types of images you’d like created. Regardless of what you want, if you properly plan the time for photos, you’ll have more time to enjoy your celebration and the company of your guests.
And just for fun….what is your favorite part of the wedding to photograph?
Cream City excels at storytelling imagery, including my favorite, that moment each couple sees each other in their wedding clothes for the first time.
What made you want to start your own photography business?
I picked up a camera and I was hooked. I shot a wedding for a friend and I knew that was what I was born to do! About 90% of my job is enjoying the celebration right alongside our wonderful couples, then I get to relive those memories through editing. When someone asks me if I do this for a living, I can’t help but break into a smile as I say, “yes.” We have the same excitement and passion going into every wedding that we did with our first. We truly have the best couples and there are no words to describe how grateful we are for them.
What do you love about photographing weddings?
As creative artists, we want to capture the way our couples and their loved ones felt throughout the day. Preserving that laughter and love for them is the greatest feeling for us!
We have 15 creative artists on our team and not only do most do this full-time, the majority have been with us for around 5 years! We’re a small, tight-knit family (we’ll always stay small so we can be sure all of our portfolios and personalities are amazing) but we’ll never be so small that we don’t have a backup (regardless of what any two person team says, they can get sick or get in an accident, no one is super human). Once you see our portfolios, you’ll be shocked that you can select your favorites from our seriously incredible group! After all, who else gives you two EQUALLY talented photographers when you choose them and has an equally talented “backup” photographer available at all times? You can never be too careful when it comes to preserving the best day of your life! 🙂
What is a tip you have for couples who are starting the process of booking a photographer and/or videographer?
See full weddings! After all, sharing everything we’ve delivered to many others is the best way for you to know what your album will look like. Reviews are great but not always accurate and engagement sessions are shot in the easiest light. If we all blur together, we promise you, when you compare our full weddings to others, you’ll be able to see the difference!
Are there any unique trends you see for 2020 and coming for 2021 in how weddings are photographed or the types of pictures couples want?
More and more our couples are leaning towards making their posed moments candid and we absolutely love it! We might tell you to whisper in your special someone’s ear and we’ll even drop silly hints of what to say if you need ‘em. We’ll tell you to bump your partner’s hip while skipping hand in hand to snag those genuine grins and preserve them forever behind our lens. It makes us smile from ear to ear when your favorite human comes up behind you at the second you least expect it and spins you around, those are totally some of our couples’ favorites from their sessions! We want your true selves to shine through and will do whatever it takes to make that happen! Lifestyle photography has become what most prefer and it’s so much fun for us to capture this.
How much time should a couple allot towards getting photos of the wedding party?
Great question! We tell our couples 30 minutes for family posed photos and 90 minutes for bridal party. Of course, this does depends on how large your bridal party is and what you’re looking for but this is what we typically recommend.
Is there anything you wish couples would know about their wedding photos that just doesn’t seem to get shared?
We have a wonderful list of tips on our page that often times, couples don’t think of but will create a more stress free day for you so it’s a great read.
And just for fun….what is your favorite part of the wedding to photograph?
We’re suckers for love and thoroughly enjoy each part of the day but at receptions, when many photographers just cover the events, we’re running around and getting those real, candid moments that we have a blast capturing! The fun times your guests are having that you weren’t there to see but can smile about later as well as you enjoying your guests… preserving those beautiful memories for you is such an amazing feeling for us!
What made you want to start your own photography/videography business?
I loved taking photos as a kid. I took photos of everything! When I went to college, I got involved with the campus TV station and developed a passion for video. I knew I always wanted to own my own business. A few years after college, I decided to start filming weddings. Eventually, I expanded into photography.
What do you love about photographing/filming weddings?
I love being creative! I also love telling a couple’s love story.
What is a tip you have for couples who are starting the process of booking a photographer and/or videographer?
Make sure you are comfortable with the person you are planning on hiring. Do a video chat, phone call or in-person meeting to get to know them. Also, make sure you see samples of their work.
Are there any unique trends you see for 2020 and coming for 2021 in how wedding are photographed/filmed or the types of pictures couples want?
I haven’t seen any unique trends yet this year. We get many requests to make sure that we capture a lot of video/photos of their guests, especially family members.
How much time should a couple allot towards getting photos of the wedding party?
Couples should allow two hours for photos of the family, bridal party and just the two of them alone.
Is there anything you wish couples would know about their wedding photos/videos that just doesn’t seem to get shared?
Make sure you give your photographer and videographer a list of everything you want captured, especially group photos. This will help us out significantly in making sure we capture everything that is important to you.
And just for fun….what is your favorite part of the wedding to photograph/film?
That’s a hard one! I love everything about a wedding! My favorite part is probably seeing the couple together, having fun and posing for photos. Of course, I also love the speeches!
I’m a Wisconsin based wedding and lifestyle photographer inspired by the quietness of walking though the woods, and the crisp air in the fall. I’m inspired by passionate connectivity and bold simplicity, and love capturing those moments during your sessions. I live for warm, golden light and telling every detail of your love story. I capture the in the moment memories – him brushing your hair off your shoulder as he kisses your cheek, the wrinkly-nosed belly laughs as you nuzzle in close. When you look back at your photos, you will relish in the memories and feel the joy.
Most days you can find me with a cup of coffee in one hand and my baby girl in the other. I’m passionate about learning and creating and building my business. I have filled the minds of first graders in a rural town in Wisconsin, and if I can get 20 six and seven year old’s to line up quality without any chaos, I can whip through your wedding party shots in no problem! I love being with my husband and high school sweetheart, Kyle, my daughter, Ella, and my dog , Brooks!
