A Minimalist Golf Course Wedding at The Club at Lac La Belle

Noah and Jordan met when they were 18 years old, introduced by friends with the goal in getting them to be prom dates. Lucky for everyone, it worked and the history writes itself!

The engagement was picture perfect as it took place in Denver, CO. While on vacation for a New Year’s Eve wedding, Denver got it’s first snowfall of the season, and a huge one at that. Noah and Jordan, along with family, traveled to Red Rock Amphitheater to do some site seeing. It was at this time family suggested they take a photo with the gorgeous backdrop. After getting up to the perfect spot, Jordan turned around to see Noah on one knee with the most beautiful custom ring.

The wedding was planned in The 1896 Room at The Club at Lac La Belle with the overall theme of earthy, classy and minimalist. The color palette consisted of greens and blues.

Ceremony Details

Jordan shared that “Our ceremony took place outside on the patio of our venue. There is a putting green in front of a ginormous, beautiful tree. My favorite part was walking up to the glass patio doors with my Dad before walking down the aisle and looking at everyone standing at their seats. It looked like every single seat was taken and that just made my heart so full to know we were surround by all our loved ones!”

Reception Details

Walking across the green into The 1896 Room to see the space for the first time, Jordan and Noah immediately fell in love and had that ‘AHA’ moment. It was stunning, cozy, classy and just perfect. They knew it was where they wanted to get married. The patio area was exceptional and they had to have it!

Favorite Design Elements

The couple tried to keep decor, floral and everything else as minimal as possible. Considering how renovated the venue was, they really did not need to go overboard with any decor. The light fixtures at the venue were already gorgeous in a rustic/modern style. The tables and chairs were large, wood and rustic and looked so nice! All provided by the venue so they didn’t have to lift a finger!

Food and Drink

For the nights food and beverage, Jordan noted that “Our venue provided hors devours and dinner. Everyone raved about the food!  Our hors devours included lobster bites, beef wellington bites and a brie cheese tart bite. Dinner included braised short ribs with risotto, fried honey siracha chicken with veggies and a strawberry vinaigrette salad with rolls. We had a full open bar and signature drink, The Bulleit Old Fashioned named “The Johnny” for Noah’s dad.”

For dessert, there were several snack trays with bite size treats from Periwinkle’s Bakery. And once late night snacks came around pizza was served by the 1896 Room.

Wedding Photos

The couples photographer had taken photos for weddings at The Club at Lac La Belle previously, which was a huge bonus. Their favorite photos ended up being the sunset photos, “They turned out stunning!”

Gown and Bridesmaids Dresses

Jordan tried on three dresses at Strike Bridal Bar and her dress was the third one! For her this was the second time she had that ‘AHA’ moment while planning their wedding.

For bridesmaids dresses, one thing Jordan wished she knew was to have attendants order gowns sooner rather than later. Dress styles can be discontinued at any time, which meant changing up a few gowns that were worn by her bridal party.

Most Memorable Moment

The bride shared that it was her spotlight dances with her Dad and brother that created one of the most memorable moments. “They were very special songs and there was so much love!”
