A sun-soaked July afternoon, a countryside setting, and 166 of their favorite people gathered to celebrate! Titus and Bryn’s wedding at The Carriage House in Oconomowoc was a beautiful blend of vintage romance and personal touches. From lace accents and thoughtfully handmade details to an outdoor ceremony centered around their faith, every part of the day reflected what mattered most to the couple. And when the sun went down, the celebration was far from over, with a dance floor full of family and friends making the most of every last song.
The Beginning & The Proposal
Titus and Bryn’s love story began at church, which would also play a special part in their engagement story. Following a Sunday service on a snowy afternoon, Titus popped the question in his parents’ backyard. It was the perfect winter setting for one of the most exciting moments in their love story.

The Planning Process
With six months to plan, Bryn knew the atmosphere she wanted to create: vintage, elegant, and effortlessly simple. Many of the details that made the celebration special came from Bryn’s own creativity and the help of her family.
A palette of butter yellow and earthy neutrals carried throughout the day, complemented by soft ivory fabrics, delicate lace, and understated floral arrangements. Rather than filling every corner with elaborate decorations, the couple embraced thoughtful details that felt personal and intentional.
Bryn designed the invitations and signage herself, while she and her mom took on the flowers. Among her favorite projects were the handmade table numbers and a beautifully styled cake display featuring pears and grapes.
The result was a wedding that felt carefully considered, with plenty of handmade touches woven into the celebration.

Wedding Day Looks
Bryn’s bridal look captured the vintage romance of the day. She found her strapless gown at Vow’d Weddings after trying on just seven dresses.
“I didn’t want to take it off, so I knew it was the one,” she shared.
The gown featured a structured bodice and flowing skirt, which she paired with a lace-trimmed veil that added a beautifully nostalgic touch. She styled her own hair, while Blush by Brittany created her makeup look.
Her bridesmaids wore soft, buttery yellow dresses from Billy J in a mix of flattering silhouettes.
Titus complemented the bridal party in a light neutral suit from Birdy Grey, creating a cohesive look against the golden summer grasses and greenery surrounding the venue.
Wedding Ceremony
The Carriage House‘s outdoor setting provided a naturally beautiful backdrop for Titus and Bryn’s ceremony. Rows of white chairs overlooked the grassy landscape, with simple flowers, programs, and handheld fans welcoming guests as they arrived.
And those fans? They quickly became one of the day’s most appreciated details! With Wisconsin’s July heat in full force, guests happily put them to use during the ceremony and continued carrying them throughout the evening.
As an instrumental version of “Goodness of God” played, Bryn made her way down the aisle. The ceremony was officiated by Titus’s uncle, with music performed by the groom’s friend.
Rather than keeping their most meaningful words private, Titus and Bryn chose to share their love and full vows in front of everyone. The couple also incorporated two worship songs into the ceremony, creating one of the moments they would remember most.
For Titus and Bryn, the ceremony wasn’t simply the beginning of the festivities. It was an opportunity to celebrate their faith, the commitment they were making, and the people who had supported their relationship along the way.

Capturing the Day
Hailey Ann Photo documented the celebration, capturing everything from the smallest handmade details to the big, unscripted moments.
With The Carriage House situated on a golf course, Titus and Bryn had beautiful scenery surrounding them. They ventured into a nearby wooded area for romantic portraits surrounded by trees and filtered sunlight, along with open fields where the tall summer grasses created a soft, natural setting.
Bryn especially appreciated the candid photographs taken throughout the day. From the bridal party enjoying time together outdoors to the couple celebrating their newlywed status, the photographs tell the story of a day filled with genuine happiness.
The Reception
Choosing The Carriage House for their wedding and reception was an easy choice. Bryn loved the simplicity of the space, how bright it was and having plenty of room for everyone to enjoy the evening.
Bryn’s creativity shined through in the details, with handmade table numbers, petite lamps, ikebana-style floral arrangements, and handwritten notes to each guest’s place setting. At the entrance, a collection of family photographs accompanied a sign reading “To all of the love stories before ours,” honoring the marriages of their parents and grandparents alongside a guest book and lace-adorned send-off wands. One of the most eye-catching displays featured two cake stations framed by flowing ivory draping, one for the couple’s cake cutting and another showcasing seven additional cakes, by Sally’s Sweet Shoppe, for guests. Fresh pears and grapes completed the look, adding a playful yet elegant touch to the vintage-inspired design.
Dinner was provided by The Carriage House, with guests choosing between ribs, chicken, and salmon. Passed appetizers, raspberry summer salad, charcuterie boards rounded out the menu.
Big Sand Productions kept the energy high throughout the evening, but it was the final song of the night that brought everything full circle. As “Praise” by Elevation Worship played, the dance floor filled with family and friends jumping, singing, and celebrating together.
It was the kind of ending that perfectly captured the three words Bryn used to describe their wedding: upbeat, sweet, and joyful.

Advice from the Bride and Groom
After planning their celebration in just six months, Titus and Bryn have a few pieces of advice for couples preparing for their own wedding.
Their first recommendation is to have everything finished at least one week before the big day. Giving yourself that extra breathing room makes it easier to enjoy the excitement without spending the final days rushing through a to-do list. Bryn also encourages couples not to get too caught up in the little details. Things have a way of coming together, even when every decision doesn’t feel perfect along the way.
Most importantly, their advice goes beyond the wedding itself.
“Focus more on preparing yourself for marriage rather than the wedding day itself.”
For Titus and Bryn, the sweetest memories weren’t necessarily the ones they spent months planning. They were the moments of worship, laughter, and celebration shared with the people they love most.
Wisconsin Wedding Vendor Team
Titus and Bryn loved working with their talented Wisconsin wedding vendors, who helped bring their vision to life and make the entire experience one to remember.
