“Springtime Wanderlust” Styled Shoot

April 29, 2024

Bright Colors to Inspire Your Wedding Look

The Elm Grove Woman’s Club is home to not only a wonderful group of woman, but also a beautiful building. Situated inside you will find rich history, a large sprawling stage as well as a central dome adorned with a statement chandelier creating a grand open feeling. All of this together makes for a perfect wedding venue.

Design Team

Celebrait by Kait took the lead in designing this styled shoot. Kait shared that, “We infused a lot of color into the shoot, even though it’s not the trendiest thing right now. Personally I’m crossing my fingers for a colorful comeback in 2025!” The bold colors was a nice contrast to the bright white space.

Wedding Decor and Food

Reflections of You created arrangements with reds, oranges and yellows in a variety of difference sizes and shapes. Linens, provided by Windy City Linen, were brought in to accent, with a textured white tablecloth and sage green napkins. To finish off the tables menu cards, created by Paper Envy, were placed on top of each place setting adorned with a single tulip. Paper Envy also created a welcome sign and invitation suite with accenting colors to pull everything together.

Food was nothing short of delicious, all compliments of Noble Catering & Events. Appetizers included grilled peach caprese skewers, salmon burnt ends as well as goat cheese and mushroom tarts. The peach and burrata salad played off the colorful theme. Entrees were a Sea Bass with fregola pasta, lacinato kale, calabrian chilis and charrled lemon heirloom sauce and a Maple Sage Chicken with spiced sweet potatoes, kimchi bok choy and carmel. To finish off the course were mini Bombolinis and Crème Brûlée cups.

Completing the Wedding Look

Other talented vendors that pulled the day together were CBK Vintage with help on the decor, The Bridal Beauty Team for hair and makeup as well as Bliss Bridal with the stunning Morilee wedding gown. Jaxie Bridal helped finish the look with the veil and accessories and Emily Klopstein Fine Jewelry designed the ring.

All these photos and videos could not be possible without the talented Renee Rose Media and Jahr Wedding Films.

Kait added that “As with any event, the success is grounded in the team of vendors. I was fortunate to have been granted creative control and the ability to handpick vendors, resulting in a highly enjoyable day. Hats off to this team, it was a sincere pleasure to bring the “Springtime Wanderlust” vision to life!”
