Forget the expected version of a garden wedding.

This styled editorial at The Gardens Wedding Center took a timeless palette of white, soft neutrals and natural greenery and pushed it in a more editorial direction. Florals became sculptural. Bridal fashion moved between romantic, dramatic and daring. Vintage details appeared alongside contemporary styling. And while one photographer captured it digitally, another documented portions of the day on actual film.

Organized by Captured by Coli, LLC and White Night Photography, who captured the day by film. The shoot wasn’t about building one perfectly coordinated wedding look. Instead, it explored how familiar wedding elements can feel completely different when they’re styled with a little more freedom.

Let the Garden Do the Work

When the setting already provides layers of greenery, the design doesn’t need to compete with it.

The reception tables embraced the natural surroundings with soft, earthy neutrals, muted green linens and warm wood tones. Botanical-patterned place settings, subtle metallic accents and candlelight added dimension while keeping the overall palette understated.

The Flower Bar carried that organic approach even further. Rather than florals sitting neatly at the center of each table, hydrangeas spilled toward the ground and traveled between settings. Long-stemmed calla lilies became minimalist bouquets, while other arrangements were abundant, textured and intentionally loose.

White blooms against layers of greenery kept the palette classic. It was the way those elements were used that made the design feel unexpected.

Not Just One Kind of Wedding Style

One of the best parts of this editorial is that it doesn’t try to define what wedding style is supposed to look like.

Picky Glam Bridal brought bridal fashion that shifted dramatically from look to look, from sweeping trains and delicate embellishments to oversized floral appliqués, architectural silhouettes and an unexpected black gown and veil. DuBois Formalwear complemented those looks with polished menswear, showing how classic suiting can hold its own alongside more fashion-forward bridal choices.

Beauty teams Jordan M Artistry, Alise Beauty, Bridal Glam by Pam, By Grace Bridal Artistry and Love Diamondd carried that same idea through the hair and makeup, complementing each individual look rather than repeating one formula.

The Details That Pulled It Together

The finishing touches gave each setting its own personality. Ambrosia Events provided rentals that helped shape the tables and gathering spaces, while Blue Green Designs added custom signage and paper details throughout.

A beautifully detailed cake from Tamara’s: The Cake Guru’s Sweet Boutique added another layer of inspiration, while the vintage car from Once Upon a Figgy brought a timeless touch to the outdoor portraits.

Behind the scenes, The Bride Cam captured content from the day, documenting the creative process alongside the finished editorial imagery.

One Setting, So Many Moments

What began in the garden unfolded into a full collection of distinctly different scenes. Intimate tablescapes, dramatic bridal portraits, vintage-car moments and quiet frames captured on film each brought something different to the gallery, making the setting feel new from one image to the next.
