On a cold February day earlier this year, a talented group of Milwaukee area wedding vendors, lead by the vision of Oscar at Ambrosia Events and photographed by Roost Photography, got together and created this beautiful wedding scene awash in elegance!
The introduction to the color palette and theme of the day, the signage and invitation suite highlights a whimsical font and floral accents!
We love the soft hues of this unique arch created with a mix of balloons and bleached foliage. The modern acrylic chairs and the marquee letters add to the modern, yet whimsical statement.
Here again the color scheme takes center stage with the dramatic black velvet table linens paired with the soft hued florals. We adore the white fur draped over the seats of the acrylic chairs and how it softens the look. The rose gold trimmed chargers and flatware complete the scene!
The hair and makeup team created stunning looks to highlight the colors of the day, using neutral tones and soft up-dos to show off the gorgeous gowns.
Texture was key! Accented in the floral and bouquets with bleached foliage and soft flowers, along with the different types of lace throughout the gowns. River Club of Mequon played a perfect part as the backdrop to this vision come alive.
Here is what Oscar from Ambrosia Events had to say about the idea and design of this fresh and lovely wedding ‘scape…
This photoshoot was created to have an elegant look with a black and white winter vibe, while at the same time, an introduction to spring by combining different shades of orange and champagne.
We used black velvet linens, along with a lot of glassware and silverware in rose gold tones. The florals were designed mostly with dried bleached foliage to get the soft tones of peach, blush, and white. Finishing touches of added acrylic gives that elegant look.
Beautiful menu cards were created in black and white to match the rest of the design. And, not to forget the warm light that candles provided along with marquee letters to give the cherry on top.
Many brides are afraid to incorporate new elements into their designs. I like to build installations in unexpected places, one example being balloons coming back as a new trend. While you are maybe thinking, “I don’t want my wedding to look like a children’s party,” balloons are a great way to make a big statement. Don’t be afraid to incorporate something like that, as long as they are done by a professional event designer. It very important to use textures with different sizes and shades to match your wedding colors. From covering a statement wall to hanging them from the ceiling, there is no limit for your creativity, just think outside the box.
