Wedding Details Worth Swooning Over

Your wedding invitations, flowers and cake set the tone for your day. Are you classic and elegant, fun with pops of color, incorporating a special place or memory? The options are endless. Gone are the days of having just a few options to choose from or picking from a catalog. Vendors are just excited as you are to customize and create something special to represent you and your hunny’s love story.

In our recent styled shoot at The Fitzgerald in Milwaukee, WI, designed by Ambrosia Events and photographed by Wild Elegance, LLC. Talented vendors were all about bringing the pops of color, while also hinting towards an “English Garden” vibe. Read on to learn more about the gorgeous wedding invitations, cake and flowers and how they helped pull the whole look together.

Invitations, Signage and Menu Cards

When your guests receive their wedding invite, it’s the first look into your styling. Paperwhites did a superb job in giving that glimpse with custom watercolor venue envelope liners. As you open your wedding invite the first thing you will see is a beautiful watercolor image of The Fitzgerald, then as you dig further you will find an elegant deckled edge invitation suite with hints of dusty pink and blue, floral accents and a beautiful monogram.

Paperwhites also designed a drink menu to show off the custom cocktails, incorporating that water color feel. As well as menu cards that adorned every place setting.

Wedding Cake and Mini-Pastries

Simma’s Bakery created a wedding cake described as a work of art in itself. 3D palette knife flowers covering the three tiers from top to bottom. Each incorporating the colors throughout the day.

They also served up tasty specialty desserts in the form of mini-pastries. From truffles to tarts to their signature cheesecake, everyone is sure to leave your wedding happy and satisfied.

Flowers Front and Center

Christina and the team at Ambrosia Events chose a variety of flowers and blooms that really embodied the English Garden feel. From the assortment of pastel hues, different shapes and textures; each stem was carefully chosen to bring their vision to life.

A few of the flowers that were featured throughout the wedding bouquets, centerpieces and arrangements were; Ranunculus, Peonies, Larkspur, Delphinium, Garden Roses, Stock, Tulips and Feverfew.

The florals were highlighted throughout the day accenting each space in the ceremony and reception areas. Some special touches included dog collars adorned with butterflies and beautiful moss purses and books that topped the tables.

As each and every piece pulls your wedding look together, your vendors are sure to help you create your memorable wedding day with what represents you.
