Real Wedding: Teresa & Brad

Teresa and Brad have a total storybook romance. She’s an entrepreneur (co-owner of Sala Modern Sicilian restaurant on Milwaukee’s east side) and he’s an artist. They met years ago and were fated to meet again at a concert — and the rest, as they say, is history. Teresa and Brad were married on July 19th at the South Shore Yacht Club.

Beneath a brilliantly blue and sunshiny sky, the bride’s sister officiated the ceremony with plenty of gusto. Her reading from “The Princess Bride” was a particular crowd-pleaser. After the ceremony, attention turned to dinner as the smoky scent of barbecued pork wafted through the air. For dessert, tiramisu cake courtesy of Teresa’s own Sala Modern Sicilian. Dancing followed, lasting into the wee hours of the morning. Cheers to Teresa and Brad!
