Paperwhites Invitation Suite

4 Wedding Invitation Trends by Paperwhites

June 17, 2021

We can’t help but value first impressions, right?

When it comes to a wedding, we like to think of save-the-dates and invitations as a chance to make a marvelous first impression on your guests.

For our Winter/Spring 2021 photo shoot, Paperwhites worked with us to create a gorgeous custom invitation suite as well as menu cards. Let’s look at four of the gorgeous trends in wedding stationery on display in this ethereal set.

Warm, Natural Colors

Soft pearl-white cotton letterpress stock acts as a backdrop for all of the text and soft splashes of color throughout this invitation suite. Sunset-hued peaches and pinks pair with gold accents, lending warmth and elegance.

Unique Shapes & Layers

We’re loving the small card embellished with gold, which states the name of the bride and groom. It’s a small detail, but this added layer of paper brings drama, depth, and luxury to the invitation. Immediately upon opening, you know this is something extra special.

Custom Artwork

Paperwhites calls this a “romantic renaissance” collection, complete with luxe marble textures and hand-painted gold leaf. The hand-painted aspect is key to bringing a truly bespoke quality to these precious paper goods.

Simple, Thoughtful Embellishments

Wax seals, twine, colorful ribbon, touches of gold—these are all ways to add a thoughtful touch to your paper goods. In this Paperwhites collection, a gently-frayed ribbon detail adds a boutique, hand-fashioned texture that’s anything but ordinary.

Other trends to consider when planning your own invitation suite:

– Unique, rounded shapes
– A black & white color story
– Minimalist design
– Vellum overlays
– Custom monograms or venue illustrations
– Envelope liners
