August 22, 2024

David Charles Productions’ wedding was filled with magical elegance, precious moments with family, delicious food, and stunning décor around the venue.

The Beginning

Allie and David first crossed paths at Horny Goat Brewing, where they were introduced by mutual friends. Although they went their separate ways initially, they rekindled their connection three years later through Tinder and began dating. The two became engaged in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico, at their favorite restaurant, with their first son by their side.

The Look

Allie found her dream dress at White Dress Bridal Boutique. The gown made her feel instantly beautiful, feminine, and confident. Her chic bridal look was crafted by Rouje Bridal’s Aseel, who did her makeup, and Lexi Lee Hair’s Meaghan, who styled her hair. She accessorized with pieces from Jaxie Accessories. Her bridesmaids purchased their dresses from various vendors of their choice, including David’s Bridal, Shein, and Revelry. David looked dashing in his custom tuxedo from NL Suits in the Historic Third Ward. The couple’s rings were crafted by David Liska Custom Jeweler.

The Celebration

Allie and David tied the knot on a mid-March day at the stunning St. James 1868. Their wedding ceremony was elegant, extravagant, and magical—”a dream come true.” The day was seamlessly orchestrated by Renee Breann Design, who ensured every detail was perfect. Their eldest son, Brody, walked Allie down the aisle. The reception, which was also held at St. James, was a vibrant and unforgettable affair, blending music and family traditions. The lively atmosphere featured a mariachi band playing during dinner, a nod to their cherished vacation spot in Mexico.

The Décor

The color palette of Allie and David’s wedding included black, white, and champagne, a trio of hues that set a sophisticated tone for the celebration. The décor was nothing short of spectacular: gobo lighting, uplighting, facades by David Charles Productions, and gorgeous flower installations by Jane Kelly Floral. Paperwhites custom designed the invitations sent to guests as well as the signage displayed throughout the venue.

The Food and Drinks

Passionate foodies Allie and David curated an exceptional culinary experience for their wedding guests. During cocktail hour, guests nibbled on hors d’oeuvres as well as a giant charcuterie board on a circular bar. Dinner, served by From Scratch Catering, was a feast for the senses, offering a variety of options: salad, rolls, chicken, beef, green beans, mac and cheese, and chive potatoes. Guests indulged in a delectable array of bite-size brownies, lemon bars, and fruit pastry puffs for dessert. Of course, late-night ‘za from Flourchild Pizza was a huge hit among those who needed extra fuel for dancing.

The Photos and Video

Autumn Silva Photography captured the essence of the couple’s wedding day with professional photographs, while David Charles Productions and Delicate Films filmed the extraordinary celebration.

The Honeymoon

Allie and David embarked on a mini-moon to The American Club in Kohler, savoring quiet and romantic time together as newlyweds.
