Crystal and Dan were married on March 17th, 2018 and shared a festive celebration with their family and friends. The lively and cheerful ceremony took place atop a float at the Town of Erin Annual St Patrick’s Day Parade. The float was set up by Audio Therapy DJ Services, and featured a pontoon boat decorated with St. Patrick’s Day flare!
The couple attended the Wonderful World of Weddings show in January for a bit of inspiration. While the Bright and festive bouquets were provided by Creative Floral by Something Borrowed, a gift from Crystal’s Aunt Kathy. The reception took place at Glacier Hills County Park Pavilion, where guests enjoyed traditional Irish fare such as corned beef, cabbage, potatoes, and carrots, prepared by Crystal’s father, with help from the Sussex Inn. The spirited and joyous wedding brimmed with personal touches and festivity.
Dan and Crystal met through a family friend, when she was 15 and he was 21. “He obviously wasn’t interested then!” says Crystal. “But as time passed we ended up meeting again in some of the same social circles, my cousin is one of his best friends and was a big part of our union.”
When looking back on her wedding, one moment stands out as the most memorable. “When I hugged Dan just after the kiss and could not contain my tears, it was like all of the love we’ve ever had for each other passed between us in that moment and it was a feeling that I will never forget.”
