Quadracci Pavillion

Unmatched in elegance and sophistication, the Santiago Calatrava–designed Quadracci Pavilion is a global architectural icon. Comprised of Windhover Hall, Baumgartner and Schroeder Gallerias, and Baumgartner Terrace, its immaculate ambiance and flawless Carrara marble floors set the stage for a truly upscale and unforgettable event.

Windhover Hall

The illustrious grand reception hall within the Quadracci Pavilion, Windhover Hall is the Milwaukee Art Museum’s single largest rental space. Radiantly lit from an ascending 90-foot-high atrium, Windhover Hall is a postmodern, dramatic space of unrivaled elegance. With its curvilinear forms and white marble, this iconic venue provides an incomparable backdrop for weddings.

Baumgartner Terrace

Extending south from the Quadracci Pavilion, the outdoor Baumgartner Terrace showcases the stunning upsweep of Santiago Calatrava’s architectural design, seamlessly blending the natural splendor of Lake Michigan and the bustling energy of downtown Milwaukee. This elegant patio offers an inviting open-air setting that’s perfect for both day and evening events. Whether rented on its own, paired with Windhover Hall, or included as part of the pavilion, Baumgartner Terrace promises an unforgettable setting to forge connections and celebrate milestones.

Schroeder and Baumgartner Gallerias

The Baumgartner and Schroeder Gallerias feature defined archways and geometrically inspired windows that illuminate the expansive white marble environment. In Baumgartner Galleria, embrace stunning views of Lake Michigan. In Schroeder Galleria, enjoy the verdant splendor of the Cudahy Gardens against the downtown skyline. Either galleria can be rented separately or as part of a larger Quadracci Pavilion.

Cafe

The Museum Café and patio offer an exquisite lakefront setting for any special occasion. Inside the café, cantilevered floor-to-ceiling windows frame the majesty of Lake Michigan in a stunning 270-degree tableau. When weather permits, extend your event to the adjoining patio to savor the outdoors and enjoy the view while tucked under the Museum’s iconic wings.

The Museum’s events department and event planning specialists can help you through the rental and event planning process, keeping the focus on what will make your gathering a success.
